Our Cabinets

All of J&K's cabinets and vanities are ready-to-assemble (RTA), ready-to-build (RTB), and Semi-Customizable to the customers' specific needs. J&K products are constructed with 100% solid wood doors and frames, 1/2″ to 5/8″ thick plywood boxes, soft-close metal door hinges, 3/4 to full extension drawers with soft-close metal glides, and more.

By making all these "optional upgrades" a necessary standard, the overall quality, functionality, durability, and value of J&K products are significantly improved without adding the burden of higher price for the customers.

J&K products' hardwood-plywood materials are "EPA TSCA Title VI Compliant," also known as "CARB 2 Compliant" for formaldehyde. J&K also uses AkzoNobel, a leading global company in sustainable paints and coatings, for cabinet finishes.

How to measure your kitchen?

Measuring your kitchen can seem like a daunting task, especially if you've never done it before. Our step-by-step guide takes you through the process and identifies the many elements you'll need to measure in order to get accurate dimensions.

You will need a steel measuring tape, paper, and a pencil to get a perfect fit you will need the right materials.

Step 1

Create your kitchens floor plan on the paper. Be sure to include doors, windows, walkways and any other obstructions you have in the kitchen then label each area.

Step 2

Start measuring. Remember to measure in inches, it should be to the nearest eighth of an inch. Beginning at the left corner measure the full length of each wall, this total will also include all windows and doors ways. Record the distance between the walls on your floor plan sketch.

Step 3

Measure the ceiling height. You may need to take it in 2 or 3 places to compensate for any variations. Add this information to your floor plan as well.

Step 4

Measure the windows, doors and any other items in your kitchen. Keep in mind when measuring doors and windows you also want to include the frames. Add these totals to your drawings as well. Then measure from the floor to the bottom of each window and measure the overall window height. If you have printed these instructions, write the measurements in the table provided below.

Step 5

Finally, check your measurements. If your room is rectangular add up the measurements of the parallel walls and make sure they match (or are at least very close). Then do the same with the bottom wall.

How many styles of cabinets do you offer?
J&K currently has 16 lines with unique finishes. Not all door styles and finishes are available at all location. Please
check with your local authorized J&K wholesaler for current availability.

Are all the cabinets made of solid wood?
Yes, all of J&K cabinets are made of a solid wood door with plywood constructed box. No compressed woods or particle boards are used.

Do the cabinets have a matching finished interior?
Interior of glass cabinets does carry the matching finish. Other cabinets carry the natural wood finishes.

Can I use J&K cabinets for rooms other than the kitchen and bathroom?
Yes, J&K Cabinets can be used for the pantry, office, library, mudroom, family room, laundry room, and basically anywhere in your home where you want beautiful semi-customized cabinetry. Please contact your local J&K Cabinetry authorized wholesaler for availability on custom modifications.

Do you reface cabinets?
No, we do not reface cabinets.

Authenticity of our Cabinets
Due to the high premium quality of our cabinets, it has come to our attention that many contractors or re-sellers are showing J&K cabinet samples to their customers. However, these customers are not receiving authentic J&K cabinets, but lower quality cabinets with many defects and problems that are cheaper.

To check if your cabinets are Authentic J&K cabinets, please make sure that you see our logo inside the drawers. We want to ensure the highest quality and want to make sure our customers are not being lied to with cheaper lower quality cabinets.
